I started painting soon after I realized that I needed to do something wonderful for ME!

As a mom, wife, business owner, and care giver, I had forgotten what I loved to do and who had any free time anyway?

I started watercolor lessons at mt. hood community college and took a few workshops. After moving to Battle Ground, I tried to sign up for lessons through Clark College Mature Learning. It took 2 years before I was successful in getting into their classes. Now I know why… they are wonderful and always full. I take class every term and enjoy every moment. What great friends I have met, I joined SWWS, and my life is full of art. Now I take workshops at every opportunity and work hard to be the artist of my dreams. The journey is wonderful.
