Lynda Raven Brake
Lynda Raven Brake has a BFA degree in studio art from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. After graduation she spent 14 years living and working in New Mexico where she painted the land and its people. Lynda has had her work in various Texas and New Mexico galleries. She was a signature member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society and their exhibit chair for two years. She also has a master degree in Art Therapy from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Lynda moved to Vancouver, Washington eleven years ago. She is an active member of the Oregon Society of Artists and a Juried member of the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society where she has been the chair for Arts in the Community. She is also a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society.
The art work of Lynda Raven Brake is often seen in the gallery of the Oregon Society of Artists at 2185 SW Park Place in Portland, Oregon. Her art work has been in the Gresham Art Community Shows in Gresham Oregon Visual Art Gallery. Lynda’s watercolor paintings are in the Spring and Fall shows of the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society. In 2016, she had a one person show and talk at the Three Creeks Library in Vancouver, Washington and at the office of Right to be Heard in Downtown Vancouver.
